Rippley Records Inc. has always been an artist development label, and has been my biggest passion since I was an early teen.  The key to a truly successful artist is not boom and bust, but sustainability in their profession.  I have personally used Stephen Speaks as the model of artist development that I hope to someday teach young artists to follow.  A good balance of work, play, discipline and personal health in mind, body, and spirit, all are key factors in a successful career in any industry… music is no different, even if you enjoy what you do.  I assure you, many people wouldn’t enjoy the life of a musician, just as many people wouldn’t enjoy the life of a doctor or a stunt man.  For those who love music and there is nothing else, Rippley Records is a middle-man to help connect you with others who have your vision.
I began my endeavors in the music industry in Oklahoma in 1993, when I was thirteen, by saving up a couple hundred bucks from mowing lawns and purchasing a mixer from Radio Shack, a guitar from my music teacher, and a cheap microphone. 

Ten years later, in 2003, I was awarded a Platinum Record Award from Warner Music for going platinum in the Philippines, off an album I recorded at home. I have been from the top, to the bottom, taken advantage of, been victorious, and back again in this industry. I've met hundreds of people who have influenced the music we listen to for the last thirty years, collaborated with some of them, and am making plans to collaborate with some of my heroes in this industry.  Along the way many people have told me I couldn’t accomplish what I wanted to, that I was a ‘dreamer’, and that I was wasting my time.  I welcome people like myself here at Rippley Records, and I work with plenty of them.  While this is not a label that is yet capable of making an artist’s career, I can almost guarantee you personally that my experiences  from the last seventeen years in this industry can help almost anyone get well on their way, and I probably know someone who you should meet.  Feel  free to contact me personally if you’re looking to get in the entertainment industry, for any reason.  If I can’t help you, I may know someone who is looking for someone just like you for their project… and connecting people who can make art together is the whole idea behind this company.
